Bookings

By booking, you agree to provide accurate information and grant safe access to your space. You must be of legal age to contract for services in your province or territory.

• Access: Provide entry instructions and ensure pets are secured.
• Preparation: Declutter areas to be cleaned for efficient service.
• Time Windows: Arrival windows may vary due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs.
• Photos: With your consent, we may take before/after photos solely for quality assurance.

Pricing & Payment

We offer transparent hourly and flat-rate pricing. Taxes apply. Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed.

• Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and the selected scope.
• Additional tasks requested on-site may incur extra fees if approved by you.
• Accepted methods include major credit/debit cards and e-transfer where available.
• Late Payment: Overdue balances may accrue a 2% monthly (24% annually) service charge where permitted by law.

Cancellations

Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late fee.

• Less than 24 hours’ notice: a late cancellation fee up to one hour at the booked rate may apply.
• No-Show/No Access: If we cannot gain entry within 20 minutes of arrival, a call-out fee may be charged.
• Severe Weather: Fees may be waived at our discretion when safety is affected.

Guarantee

If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 24 hours for a free re-clean of the affected areas.

• The guarantee applies to the original scope of work and area serviced.
• We do not guarantee removal of permanent stains, damage, or wear.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use our services lawfully and respectfully. Unsafe, unsanitary, or abusive conditions may result in refusal of service.

• Prohibited: Harassment, threats, discrimination, or illegal requests.
• Safety: Disclose hazards (e.g., broken glass, sharps, biohazards, pests).
• Valuables: Secure fragile or high-value items. Notify us of special care instructions.

Service Limitations

For safety and insurance reasons, we may decline tasks beyond normal household cleaning.

• No climbing above a 2-step ladder or moving heavy furniture/appliances.
• No mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, or handling of hazardous chemicals.
• No outdoor work during unsafe weather conditions.

Liability

We’re insured. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or normal wear and tear.

• Damage Reporting: Report any service-related damage within 24 hours.
• Remedies: At our discretion, we may repair, replace, or reimburse reasonable costs.
• Limitations: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
• No Consequential Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CleanCanvas, its officers, employees, and contractors harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the services, or violation of law.

Privacy & Data

We collect only the information necessary to deliver and improve services. You can manage non-essential cookies at any time.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and materials on our website or communications are owned by or licensed to CleanCanvas and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of British Columbia. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
